Villa Verde is set in approximately on acre,just on the outskirts of Santo Estevao village. Built on a hillside with magnificent views over open countryside with the sea on the horizon in the distance. The setting is rural,with a floral garden, mature Almond, Olive and Fig trees. You can relax, eat alfresco on the covered terrace, swim in or lounge arround the 10mt x 4mt pool, cook on a traditional barbeque or take advantage of the rooftop patio Villa Verde is the place to chill out with a bottle of local wine, sun bathe during the day and star gaze at night. |

Villa Verde is only 15 minutes from fantasic beaches, 5km from Tavira, this unspoiled town with its many historical buildings, churhes and architecture,(some of which dates back to Roman times)straddles the river Gilao. It is considered to be one of the finest jewels on the Eastern Algarve. Here you will find all the facilities you require. Restaurants, Modern Supermarkets, Traditional indoor and outdoor markets and fairs. Its many faces are a joy to discover by day and night.
Santo Estevao village is within walking distance of Villa Verde, it has two local bars (one of which has a super traditional restaurant), post office, chemist two mini markets and a Catholic Church.
The Villa is idealy situated for accessto the motorway IP1. Spain is a 30 minutes drive away over the bridge which spans the river Guadia that flows between the picturesque towns of Villa Real on the Portuguese side and Ayamonte on the Spanish side. For the more adventuress, the beatiful and historical City of Seville can be visited for a days excursion being only 90 minutes drive away by car. There are water parks to the West within 30/60 minutes drive. The coast line between Tavira and the Spanish border has an abundance of easily accessable unspoilt beaches andseveral golf courses. Alternatively, you can travel inland and discover the unspoilt hamlets and beautiful scenery that are part of this particular area of the Algarve |
