Property Description:

West Wind is on the east side of 22 mile long Lake Leelanau so you can watch the most beautiful sunsets and is only 9 miles from Traverse City. The resort has 11 cottages on 3.7 acres with a total of 400 feet of frontage on the lake, a sandy beach and a protected harbor. There also is a basketball court, volleyball court, and small playground area for the little ones. The cottage has its own picnic table, and marina dock right outside your front door. There also is a gazebo, horseshoe pit, fire pit area and fish house for cleaning your catch of the day. There is plenty of room to run around and some of it is nicely shaded. There is a beautiful state boat launch about 1 mile south of the resort. |

| This is Wine Courtry and we have many vineyards for tasting. Aso The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, The Grand Traverse Bay, Interlochen Arts Academy and many golf courses are with just a few miles. There are two casinos for the gamblers and many small unique resort towns nearby. |
