This 1790s farmhouse in the heart of Shaker country is simply and comfortably furnished for your Berkshires Tanglewood, Jiminy Peak or Hancock Shaker Village vacation. The charming and simple country decor creates a casual, relaxed atmosphere for your family reunion or holiday get-together. Three separate common rooms provide seating for varied groups. The surrounding lawns and gardens offer grills, picnic tables,lawn games, and a 1-mile walking path. Lots of extras include passes to the local town beach on Queechy Lake. The house is minutes from the Massachusetts Berkshires with its summer theatre, opera, children's theatre, concerts, historic homes and gardens and magnificent hills. Tanglewood, Lee, Lenox, the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, and the Clark Art Museum in Williamstown are all nearby. |
