The Coconut Hut is a tropical island style, free standing cottage that is off on a side dirt road, not on the main hwy, less than a minute walk to the beach. It is very quiet and private, perfect for honeymooners!
The Coconut Hut is located in Ha'ena on the north shore of Kauai, less than a minute walk from a white sandy beach where there is great snorkeling and swimming (seasonal). The beach town of Hanalei is only about a 10 minute drive away. There is all kinds of restaurants and stores and shops for everything you need there.
It is the guest cottage on the same property as the owners home. The 2 houses are next to each other but not attached. There are all kinds of tropical landscaping between the 2 houses so that you can barely even see them. The owners are a quiet and mellow couple in their 40's that respect the privacy of the guests staying at the Coconut Hut. The yard has a tall hedge around the whole property, and is landscaped with all kinds of tropical plants, flowers and fruit trees.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations will incur a $75.00 processing fee. Cancellation of
reservations 60 days prior to reservation date (90 days June 15 to Sept. 1 and Dec. 15 to Jan. 5) will receive a full refund less the processing fee. Cancellation of reservations less then 60 days prior to reservation date (90 days June 15 to Sept. 1 and Dec. 20 to Jan. 5) will receive a refund if accommodations can be re-booked and occupied during reserved time period. No adjustments after check in.
Security Deposit: 50% is due here within a week of making
the reservation, the balance is due 30 days prior to your check in date (60 days June 15 to Sept. 1 and Dec. 15 to Jan. 5).

The Coconut Hut can sleep up to 2 in a comfortable queen size bed. A kitchenette for light cooking, includes a microwave, two burner hotplate, pots and pans, blender, toaster, half size fridge, coffee maker, dishes and other amenities. There is a covered porch with a table and chairs and a BBQ to grill some fresh island fish. A private, covered hot tropical outdoor shower, leads into your bathroom, so you can rinse the salt and sand off coming in from the beach.
