Cancellation Policy: If the cancellation occurs after the lease is signed and deposit sent, the deposit will be forfeited if the property cannot be rented to another group. If the property can be rented, a 15% administrative fee will be deducted from the deposit.
Security Deposit: A deposit of $1000.00 must be received to reserve your specific rental period. The remaining rental fee, plus sales tax, must be received by March 15, 2007, for the 2007 season.

Property Description:

Nestled on the hill overlooking Orcutt's Harbor, Breezemere Farm has been a part of Brooksville's history since 1917. Its founder, Julia Gray, opened the family farmhouse as an inn, the added quaint rental cottages, and took pride in the great meals and family-centered vacations she was able to provide.
Today, the farmhouse boasts six bedrooms and six baths (two on each floor, one en suite), a comfy livingroom with gas fireplace, dining porch with gas fireplace, and newly-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances.
The grounds include walking trails and meadows where the local wildlife make regular appearances. Late summer means wild blueberry picking, while tidal pools abound with sealife all season long. (Children's author Robert McCloskey, wrote about Brooksville in his book "One Morning in Maine" and visitors will recognize the church and "Condon's Garage" on traveling through the village of Buck's Harbor.)
The town of Blue Hill is about a dozen miles from the inn, and Deer Isle and Stonington offer a taste of the real Maine seacoast, with working harbors, fishing boats, outstanding seafood, and watercraft rentals. For the less adventurous, rockers on the front porch offer a quiet place to read, listen to the brook or nap. |
