History of Shanty Creek----
When Roy Deskin thought about the high, tree-green hills and curving valleys surrounding Bellaire in Michigan's Antrim County, he envisioned a challenging ski and golf resort, satisfying to all visitors. New Ownership in 1997 allowed Shanty Creek to embark on a bold new plan for Cedar River Village, which included the expansion of downhill runs to a total of 49 and add the Cedar River G.C. by Tom Weiskopf. |
