This is a cozy beach house which is an efficiency apartment upstairs and a large garage/studio downstairs. Right on the beautiful Zancudo Beach, Costa Rica. There is so much land around the house that it is very private. In between you and the beach is a thatched hut rancho...with concrete floor and sink, BBQ, table and benches and electricity.
The town of Playa Zancudo has a lazy laid back feeling..no high rises or big developers here. Just a nice mix of simple folk. Ticos, Gringo, Europeans all know and watch out for each other.
Playa Zancudo has a very good beach break for surfing and is only a half hour drive from the famous left point break Pavones. Also this area is famous for world class sport fishing. Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado(Mahi Mahi), Snook and more all abound here. Three types of monkeys thrive here along with other exotic wildlife such as anteaters, sloths, tolomucos, pizotes, kinkajou etc. The birding is fantastic with toucans, parrots, trogons, and brightly colored tanagers.
