Cancellation Policy: Cancellations:
•Either party may cancel the reservation in writing up to 90days (peak season & Holidays) and 60 days (non-peak season) prior to the arrival date .
•There is a $200 administrative fee if you cancel your reservation in whole or part.
Security Deposit: Security Deposit:
•The Security Deposit is provided as security against damage to the house or property, theft, long distance phone charges, late check out, and violation of any of the renters’ agreements contained in the rental agreement.
Other Policies: Payment Info:
•Rent Deposit shall be paid with the submission of signed rental agreement.
•Security Deposit and Rent Balance are due Ninety (90) days in advance of stay. Acceptable forms of payment are personal checks, cashier’s check, money order, cash, or credit cards(via PayPal)**.
**Credit cards via PayPal are accepted with a 3% surcharge added.
Arrival/Departure Times:
•Check-in starts at 3 pm on the arrival date and Check-out must occur by 11 am on the departure date.
•Early check-in and late check-out times may be possible by prior written arrangement, but can only be confirmed several days before the arrival date, since they are dependent on the schedules of others. An additional fee of $50 apply, per hr.
Additional Fees:
--$500 Refundable Security Deposit + $275 cleaning fee (one time).
-- Holding deposit for Reservation during Peak & Holiday bookings is 1/2 of the total rental nights reserved--
--Additional visits (after booking) to the home for extra viewing can be arranged with an additional $50 fee, per hour visit. Early drop off of goods is not available due to liability.
--Early/Late Check-out: can be arranged with an additional $50 fee, but cannot be quaranteed until one week prior to check-in due to possible other booking on same day.

Located in Marin County, just 15 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge, (or 16 miles) from downtown San Francisco, & only 40 minutes to the Sonoma / Napa Valley Wine Country, it makes good common sense to base one's stay in Marin!
Why vacation in any other location then Marin County? In Marin you get everything from casual beach atmosphere, to Marina/sailing eating lunch days in Tiburon, not to mention Yosemite atmosphere everywhere, but with better views (..of San Francisco!)! Do everything one can think of here! Hike into serene forests, shop top notch malls, sail the bay, mtn bike through forests with surreal views, or just hop into San Francisco for some real city atmosphere (only 15 minute drive from the Marin Vacation Home in San Rafael!).
Available year round, The Marin Vacation Home is a large 6 bedroom, 3 bath Vacation that sleeps 7 - 14 comfortably in beds. (5 bedrooms have Queen size beds, 6th bedroom has 2 Full size beds).
Full amenities are provided for up to 14 people- everything you can expect from a hotel, but more- such as beautiful views, open wide spaces, and a great Gourmet Kitchen.
This expansive Gourmet kitchen, which takes in the views of the home and the open living areas, has great amenities and large open working spaces, creating a fun, get together environment. Amenities include a great Gas Range, top of the line stainless 48" built-in Monogram Refrigerator, 28 bottle Wine Cooler (for those Wine Country finds) and all the kitchen appliances a chef with company would need.
The formal dining area (which seats 12-14) branches off this Gourmet Kitchen & Great Room, also taking in the home & it's views. Two additional tables, with seating, are set up close by and easily arrangeable for extra seating.
The Great Room is astounding. Open and expansive views greet you from all directions. A beautiful granite fireplace and plenty of sofa seating, not to mention extra table spaces, make this the ideal gathering location.
A bonus loft area, used as a reading/TV area/ hang out, which is very much a part of the room atmosphere from above and makes the home easy for large gatherings.
All outdoor spaces features plenty of patio seating, should you decide to dine or just hang outside and take in a beautiful night. Sunny & open lawns, numerous meandering pathways, and glorious Panoramic Views embrace this Marin Property which is completely Private and fenced.
Marin Bonus: Experience Pt Reyes National Seashore, Marin Headlands, Sausalito or world-renowned Organic Pinot Noir's from West Marin (30minutes of spectacular driving scenery- not to mention grass fed beef, organic cheeses, etc... in fact, Prince Charles visited just last year just to see these farms in action!)!

• **Mountain Biking: Marin county is the birthplace of the mountain bike and the mountain bike experience!
o Excellent trail all over Marin for any type of bike enthusiast, from beginner to advance, road or Mountain!
Maps available at the home include all the cool trails for Mount Tamalpais and China Camp, just to name two of many national state parks in Marin!
Tamarancho Ranch in Fairfax offers world class single track mountain biking trails that really stimulate the senses- all legally!
Fantastic trails all aver Mt Tamalpais Watershed area! No cars!
• **Hiking: Enjoy Marin's natural beauty by foot. A great Ridge trail, The Terra Linda Open Space Ridge Trail, is just a short walk from the home. Take in Mt Tam and gorgeous bay and mountain vistas. China Camp State Park is also very close by and makes a great exploration destination!
• Its a birds lovers delight! Muir Woods, Mt Tamalpais, and Tomales Bay is a must for any wildflower admirer/bird watcher, or camera enthusiast.
• Muir Woods, national monument, always makes a great destination. Mt Tamalpais is also fantastic, as is all of Marin!
• **Water Activities:
Take in the ocean air and ride the ferry from Larkspur, Tiburon, or Sausalito to enjoy fantastic views of SF and the Bay area!
o **Beaches: Great Waves all over!
Enjoy Stinson Beach 25 minutes away or Ocean Beach in San Francisco (same distance)! Do I dare mention Mavericks with its wall of waves? Then there is Muir Beach, on the bay of San Rafael, a great relaxing park with lots of lawn space, swimming pools, and a mellow bay beach- 5 min's away!
o Lake Berryessa: Less than 1 hr away to waterski mecca! Loaded with islands to park your boat (rent one if needed) for the day!
o San Francisco Bay: Rent a yacht, go by ferry, kayak or windsurf! It is all available. Tours out to Alcatraz or Farralon Islands make a great activity with family and friends!
Other fun things to do:
• Shopping:
o Fantastic Antique stores dot Marin downtowns like San Rafael, San Anselmo, and Fairfax and you can expect to find all the great mall stores like Nordstrom, Macy's, BeBes, Pottery Barn, etc, closeby! So much to do!
o Of course, the City of San Francisco is just a 20 minute drive! Empty your pockets on Union Street boutiques or Union Square Mega stores- its your choice.
• Dining: San Francisco is known for its culinary greatness. Enjoy 5 star dining in the city at 'Stars', or a fun afternoon on the docks of the bay at 'Sams Anchor Cafe' in Marin for casual fine dining at its best! Want an adventure? Try going out to Tomales Bay (30min drive) for fresh Tomales oysters, BBQ'ed or on the half shell!
• Alcatraz: is a favorite tourist destination as is going to Angel Island from Tiburon for a day of picnicking, hiking or biking. |
