The home is located at an elevation of nearly 4,000 feet where the summer's high temperatures average only 75 degrees. Therefore, although there is no traditional "air conditioning" system, the home's unique and comprehensive ventilation / cooling system which includes six exhaust fans and six ceiling fans create a comfortably cool atmosphere throughout the home during even the warmest summer days.

The GUEST HOUSE accomodates 4 and is the estate property's 7th bedroom and 5th bathroom. It is available for rent as well for $75 per night and $350 per week in addition to A Balance With Nature and is only available to the party renting the Main House. The Guest House includes a second kitchen, satellite tv, POOL TABLE and FOOSBAL TABLE.

Also included on the property are a level grassed-in yard, a stone walking path around the main house and several acres of mountain terrain with stone formations, a stream and trails to explore.

Located in a private, gated development off the Blue Ridge Parkway just 15 minutes north of downtown Blowing Rock and 15 minutes east of downtown Boone, you will be close to the best in shopping and dining as well as only 15 minutes from Tweetsie Railroad, 30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain, just 20 to 45 minutes to all 4 major ski resorts in the area, and close to all other High Country attractions.
