Property Description:
|
The Lodge on Iron Mountain enjoys a formal dining room - but in nice weather many tables for enjoying meals outdoors. Some on the open decks where you enjoy the company of hummingbirds and cardinals. One under the covered porch in case of inclement weather where you can also relax in the wicker chairs watching the clouds roll by.
A Great Room with wood burning fireplace, library corner, poker table and lots of comfortable overstuffed chairs and sofas for relaxing. Isn't this what a Lodge should be? A place for friends and family to gather and share memories.
A gourmet kitchen with shelves and frig stocked for your use. This is where everyone gathers while the cook prepares meals. Big enough for everyone to help clean up too! Right off the kitchen is the pantry and laundry room. Maytag washer and gas dryer means laundry is done in no time.
Just as you would expect in a luxury mountaintop lodge there are luxurious bedrooms with whirlpool tubs in tiled baths. 3 bedrooms have private balconies, 2 baths have steam showers and 1 bedroom has a cast iron stove. Each of the rooms are provided with luxury linens, terry robes, goodies to snack on and bath amenities from Gilchrist and Soames.
Right on hiking trails going into the Cherokee National Forest. The Lodge on Iron Mountain is meant for "feet up comfort", easy living within a luxury home. Set on the back of the 140 acres, your family will have the seclusion and privacy you want. Only the bears and rabbits and deer will know you are home....well, maybe the birds and squirrels as well.
