The rates above are base on TWO guests and a 7-night booking.
Our BOOKING MINIMUMS are as follows:
If booking more than 60 days in advance, we have a 7-night minimum.
Within 60 days of arrival - 5 nights or longer.
Within 30 days of arrival - 3 night minimum.
If your travel dates do not fit within the "minimums" - please email us anyway! It's very possible that we can work you into our schedule, depending on the other bookings that are already in place. The minimums are our basic guidelines for taking reservations. If we can accommodate your request, we will. We tend to make exceptions quite often. :-)
Short Stays and Holidays:
For any booking of less than 7 nights, there is a $50.00 short-stay fee. There is also a $50.00 surcharge if your dates include any of the following major holidays. New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Rates are based on an occupancy of: 2 Lodging tax: 11.42%
Cleaning fee: $85.00
Other fees: FREE PARKING

Cancellation Policy: More than 60-days prior, there is a $100.00 cancellation fee.
Within 60 days of arrival, all refunds are subject to the rebooking of cancelled dates, minus the $100.00 cancellation fee. .
Security Deposit: We do not currently require a security deposit.
We still live by the "kindergarten rule".
You'll find our home in wonderful condition when you arrive, and we expect that it will be returned to us in the same condition. When our cleaning person arrives, she will update us on the condition of the unit and linens. We have had the same cleaning person for a long time, and she knows exactly what is in the unit, and what condition it's in. By renting our home, you agree to be fully responsible for any and all damage to the unit and it's furnishings. We find that trust goes a long way.
Most of our guests are "perfect" guests.
Other Policies: ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE UNIT OR THE BALCONY.
New Hawaiian State Law forbids smoking within 20 feet of the entrance. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS of any kind.
Children:
Children fall into the same catagory as a security deposit.
We do not have children, so our home is not "child proof" or "kid friendly". It's an adult enviornment, and was designed for couples and young adults. Only you know your children.
We have a lot of glass items and fragile furnishings. If you think your children will be comfortable in this enviornment, we will certainly welcome them as our guests. Again, by renting our home, you agree to be fully responsible for all furnishings, contents, and linens. This included sand and oil on the couch, dining chairs, and comforters.

We have been privately renting our Maui home since 2002, and we have had nothing but happy guests.
Unfortunately, I'm a crazy busy gal, and I just can't seem to find the time to transfer all of our “paper guestbook”
comments to an online guestbook. But we have LOTS of references if you want them. :-)
We have actually had a lot of guests return EVERY SINGLE YEAR since we first bought our home in 2002.
The Kuleana Resort is located in North Kaanapali, at Honokowai, about midway between Kaanapali and Kapalua.
Our home is a perfect retreat for overworked COUPLES needing to RELAX and reconnect, and a heavenly haven for HONEYMOONER's.
Kuleana 713 sits about 15-20 feet from a small cove and the ocean‘s edge, with a small secluded beach directly below our unit .
You’ll wake to rainbows on the horizon, and find sea turtles feeding below our balcony. But just a word of warning.
Be very, very careful out there. Once you go out on our balcony, you may just lose half of your day!
Without a doubt, the most common comment we find in our guestbook is:
“We planned to do a lot more during our visit - but we just loved staying here ‘at home’ on your balcony!” SERIOUSLY.
You’ll find that our Island home truly is a 'home away from home' - and we have everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay.
Our cute bamboo style kitchen has upgraded appliances, including smooth-top range, and all possible necessities for making a hearty breakfast, lunch for the road, and gourmet dinners by the water‘s edge. I worked for a major airline for 22 years, and have been fortunate to have traveled the globe - so take it from a "vacation pro" - there’s nothing quite as fun as grilling "surf and turf" by the ocean's edge at sunset, and eating dinner to the sound of waves crashing, and the glow of the Tiki torches below.
This is JUST THE BEST! :-)
By the way, the rest of the condo is JUST as cute and comfortable as the photos posted in this ad.
Our bedroom and bath are a fun, comfortable mix of Island furnishings and elegant details. Artist signed prints, and even a hula girl lamp!
You may just have TOO much fun in there. (ha)
Outside our home, the grounds of the property are manicured to absolute perfection.
You'll be surrounded by lush greenery and tropical flowers at your every turn.
The smell of plumeria’s fill the air, and tiki torches are lit at sunset.

This property has lush tropical grounds, and an amazing double island view of Lanai and Molokai on the horizon. Please visit our websites to see more photos.
We also have West Maui's largest HEATED POOL, Tennis Courts, and a wonderful SEA LADDER. The sea ladder drops you directly into the ocean ~ like a swimming pool ladder! We have a small secluded beach diagonally below our unit, and we have sea turtles that feed below us in the early morning hours.
We are 10 minutes north of Lahaina, 3-5 minutes north of the main Kaanapali Beach resort area, 5 minutes south of Kapalua, and 3 minutes south of Napili. We are in the middle of West Maui, near shopping, restaurants, and activies.
It doesn't get any better than this ... at any price.
