The Rundles-Morris House, designed by the respected young Canadian architectural firm Shim-Sutcliffe, is available for rent.

Everything in the House was custom designed with great care.
It took over two-years of detailed planning and organizing for the property to be fully realized. You cannot stay in a place this modern anywhere in Canada.

The house is ideal for one couple, a small family, or, two couples traveling together to share in comfort and style.

There are two bedrooms with queen-sized mattresses, with bathrooms en suite. The living room has wonderful views of the Avon River, and surrounding parks. Guests have use of a professional kitchen that is fully stocked with everything one needs to self-cater. For those colder nights, we have a wonderful wood-burning fireplace to light a fire and snuggle up to.

The House is furnished with only top quality European and North American modern furnishings, from the most expensive designers and design manufacturers since the early 1900's to present, from Le Corbusier, Charles and Ray Eames, to Arne Jacobsen, Frank Gehry, Philippe Starck, and many others.

We feature only the best in contemporary lighting from Artemide, as well extremely expensive carpeting from Italy, to the soft limestone sourced from France, to detailed
metal work, and custom modern cabinetry. This House is not a 'cookie cutter' property; it is totally designed and thought through to completion at great expense.

Guests are provided with the very best in luxury products to use and enjoy during their stays, such as linens sourced from
Thomas Ferguson Irish Linen, widely acknowledged as the finest linen Jacquard weaver in the world (bathrobes, pillow cases, and napkins). We supply each bathroom with exquisite French soaps from Roger & Gallet, and Aveda bath products.

Seasonal, healthy and contemporary breakfasts consisting of local organic products are served daily (you get your own private chef, as well as maid to perform daily housekeeping).

Daily newspapers are provided each morning, including 'The Globe and Mail', as well as, 'The New York Times'.

We also provide our guests with the following magazines to leaf through during down times:

'Wallpaper'
'Monocle'
'Utne Reader'

At additional expense, dinner may also be served in the house during restaurant hours; and should you wish to use the house for small meetings or parties, we shall be glad to cater these for you.

Rundles-Morris House was chosen as a “Record House” by 'Architectural Record' magazine in April 2002, and is featured in 'The Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture'.

We regret that the house does not have an elevator, and is not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs. Parking for two vehicles is provided and located on site.
