La Casa Cielo, crested on five acres high above the rural island of Culebra, is more than a home... it's a Celebration! This 100-foot long Caribbean home overlooking the private cove, was built 12 years ago by the noted designer, William Maillet. Mr. Maillet who is widely known for his insistence that almost good is not good enough, sited the house to take full advantage of the views and the trade winds. La Casa Cielo is considered one of the most beautiful rental homes on the island. A St Thomas deck and roof surrounds La Casa Cielo which lends itself to gracious indoor and outdoor living. Watching the cruise ships go sailing by, watching the hummingbirds testing the nectar of the Royal Ponciana trees and hearing the wild horses munching on the fruit trees is an important part of the home.
