Cancellation Policy: The following cancellation penalties will apply to the total rental amount paid for reservations:
90+ days before arrival date: 5% penalty
89 to 60 days before arrival date: 30% penalty
59 to 31 days before arrival date: 45% penalty
Under 30 days before arrival: 100% penalty
For reservations cancelled 30 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival, there are no refunds if the home is not re-rented for the reserved period or equal value of the rental amount. If the home is re-rented for the cancelled dates, all monies will be refunded less a 25 % cancellation fee of the rental amount.
Security Deposit: In lieu of a substantial security deposit paid in advance, a credit card is required on file to charge the cost of any damages or repairs to the home made during occupancy. Deposits required may change based on destination. The deposit also includes any excess utility charges, extra cleaning charges, long distance telephone fees, and any additional services requested during occupancy. Advance notice will be given prior to charges be made against the credit card.
Other Policies: Most major credit cards are accepted. Payment in full is required 45 days prior to arrival date. To reserve a home, a deposit of 50% of the rental amount is required if the reservation is made more than 45 days in advance.

Albert Frey, one of the most important modernist architects of our time, lived and worked in Palm Springs for seven decades. Frey produced such notable local landmarks as the Palm Springs City Hall and the Aerial Tramway Valley Station. One of Frey’s most notable residences is The Russell House, which was built in 1959 and is included on the Historic Preservation List for the City of Palm Springs. This masterpiece retreat went through an extensive restoration in 2007.
The Russell House soars 200 feet above Palm Springs with spectacular unobstructed-panoramic views of the Coachella Valley below and the mountains in the distance. The house is of steel and wood-frame construction with large spans of glass that open up the residence for indoor / outdoor ambiance. Frey’s genius work features an infinity edge pool (one of the first ever built in the Coachella Valley) and infinity edge Jacuzzi that surrounds a huge boulder. Albert Frey was adept at fitting a living environment in modern architecture into the natural terrain of a mountain side. A 30-foot waterfall that cascades into a coy pond from natural-form rock also adds to the natural beauty on this property. The terrace surrounding the home makes up 3,000 square feet of additional leisure space that spans the side of the mountain. For the avid tennis player a regulation tennis court that ascends 250 feet above Palm Springs is also available for enjoyment.
