Stay at this beautifully restored gothic style castle that dates from the 12th century and which is located 3 miles from Adare one of Ireland's prettiest villages. Nearby enjoy superb golf, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and later relax at the castle or enjoy the local restaurants and the craic at the local pubs.
Golf is great in Adare, you have the 18 hole championship golf course at Adare Manor Hotel which was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr and is one of Ireland's premier golf courses. There is also the Adare Manor Golf Club which is operating since 1900 and is very popular locally. Horse riding is available at Clonshire Equestrian Centre where they offer lessons, polo and dressage for everyone from your first time out on a pony to the experienced horse rider. We have private fishing available on the River Maigue or perhaps you would like to participate in a day's game angling, coarse fishing or sea angling all available in the area. |
