| Policies: |
Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent of your total fees are due at time of reservation. In terms of cancellation fees, $150 is non-refundable. The remainder of your deposit is refundable up to one week before your planned arrival. After that, there is no refund. However, if you do cancel late and we are able to re-book the facility to another party for your reserved time period, we will return all but the one night's charge of $150 to you.
Other Policies: We do not charge a cleaning fee and expect guests toleave the facilities pretty much as they find them..

Peace Garden Guest Cottage is located on the historic, scenic Hamakua Coast, frozen in time in 'old Hawaii' between the quaint sugar town of Honokaa and the legendary Waipio Valley. On three spectacular acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and bordered by Hawaiian Home Lands preserve, the estate has two restored and updated sugar plantation-style homes, and a tiny cottage and bath house. The lush grounds host a young, diversified tropical fruit orchard. Among the trees are papaya, banana, citrus, rambutan, mamay sapote, macadamia nut, coconut palm, abiu, acerola, guava, jaboticaba, avocado, mango, lychee and coffee. Encircled by a mock orange hedge and a rock wall, our Peace Garden centers on an international peace pole, and is a serene space for meditation, sunbathing and relaxation. North Hamakua is a great location for venturing throughout the island. Hilo is one-hour away, Volcano one-and-a-half hours, Kona about an hour and fifteen minutes. Eco adventure abounds. |
