Cancellation Policy: Obviously Gasparilla Villa has been taken off the market for your personal stay and other rental opportunities have been lost. Accordingly, if you change your plans, you need to let us know as soon as possible. We will immediately put Gasparilla Villa back on the market and try to rent it for your reserved time slot. If we are successful in obtaining a renter, then you will receive a full refund less a $75.00 cancellation fee. If we are not successful, then you will forfeit your initial deposit up to the rental amount. Any monies paid over and above the rental amount (i.e. the security deposit) will be refunded just as if you had stayed at the Villa. In the unlikely event you need to cancel, we will offer you a special fall discount.
Security Deposit: $300 refundable security deposit
Other Policies: Deposit deductions are typically made for the cleaning service or for poor cleaning. Over half of our guests do not want to clean the Villa. They figure that they are on vacation and the last thing they want to do is clean on their last day when they can soak up the sun or catch that last fish. No problem either way. For those who wish to choose the no-clean option, we have a cleaning service that charges $100.
For those who wish to do their own cleaning, all cleaning supplies are provided. A clean Villa means that all linens are washed, the floor is mopped, carpets vacuumed, bathtub and showers are clean (including the one downstairs), kitchen counters are clean and dishes are washed, glass sliding doors and table tops are cleaned.
Occasionally there is a charge for minor damage or missing items, but this is not the norm. Your Island Mate judges your cleaning effort and determines any charges.

Gasparilla Villa offers this and more located on Little Gasparilla Island. You have found a true island paradise for beach goers and fisherman alike. Your family and friends will never forget this wonderful experience.
Gasparilla Villa is tucked into mangroves and palms on the bay side of a quiet bridgeless barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico located just North of Boca Grande on Little Gasparilla Island.
The Boca Grande area is world famous for its quality fishing and hosts one of the finest backwater flats in Florida. With a choice of bay fishing, surf and deep sea fishing, almost anything goes. Try your fishing skills on tarpon, snook, redfish, mullet, mackerel, red snapper and grouper. Gasparilla Villa has its own private dock, a newly expanded deck with shaded fish cleaning table and lots of freezer space. Leave your fishing gear on the boat.
For the beach comber, there are miles and miles of almost deserted pristine beach with no condos, stores or gift shops. Abundant shells await with swimming and shore birds only a three minute walk away. At sunset, it is an island tradition to always be on the beach with your favorite beverage to watch the dramatic show and try to spot the elusive green flash.
Snorkel, kayak, canoe or sail in the waters that surround the island. Rent a golf cart and explore the miles of nature trails and roads. There is even a local captain. Capt. Dick James, that will give you and your guests a scenic tour. There are several excellent restaurants available by water taxi or your own boat for some of the finest seafood on the Gulf Coast. Numerous golf courses are in the area on the mainland.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by your personal island mates who will acquaint you with the Villa and the Island. Your island mates will be available during your stay to meet your needs.
A water taxi is available for transportation if you do not own a boat. |
