Ideal location for year round enjoyment. We offer 3-7 bedroom homes fully furnished vacation homesfor rent by the week or weekend. We have a clubhouse that features a seasonal in-ground heated pool,sand voleyball court,basketball court,horseshoe pits,childrens playground,charcoal grills,picnic areas and park swings. We also have a sparkling spring-fed three acre lake with sandy beach. Thelake is also stocked with fish which is great for children. The clubhouse may also be rented for private parties.
Spring time brings the annual Morel Mushroom festival. Our area is considered the finest in the state for Morel hunting. Summer you can golf over 30 courses within a 30 mile radius of our homes. Northwest Mi is the #2 region in the US for concentrated golf quality. Shopping,biking,boating,canoeing,siteseeing and numerous restaurants are alll within minutes.
Mackinac Island is less than a hours drive away. Mackinac Island is one of the great tourit attractions in the Western world. It's landmark Grand Hotel has been the subject of both movies and song. The island has a ban on autos that reinforces the strong sense of history that dominates the luscious landscape.
Fall time brings a great time to visit our area. Fall color tours in our area are considered some of the finest Michigan has to offer. Golfing in the fall can be the most enjoyable of the year with less crowds to deal with and beautiful fall color views.
Winter, We are the Midwests favorite winter destination. Downhill skiing at Boyne Mountain ( 10 minutes away), Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob resorts offer over 100 runs with over 30 ski lifts.Snowboarding, tubing and ice skating are also available. Cross country skiing with over 350 kilometers of trails that take you through beautiful forests and along lakes and streams are all nearby.
Snowmobiling, hundreds of miles of groomed trails and seasonal roads can be enjoyed from the doorstep of our homes. We are in the heart of Michigans snowbelt. Snowmobile rentals are available.
NEW: Avalanche Bay indoor waterpark (Michigans largest indoor park) is only 10 minutes away. Great year-round activity for all.
CASINO: NEW Odawa casino is now open and only 10 mintes from our homes. Great new casino with restaurants, bars and live entertainment.
