Al Casino dei Papi is a small, detached and delightful stone-built country house. It lies on the top of a hill in the northern area of the Lucca countryside only 8 km from its ancient city's Walls. It is completely indipendent, far from any noises. The house is approched via a little gravelled (not paved) uphill track which leads you from the main road to the house in less than a 1 km (1 miles=1,6km) The garden is surrounding the house and offers the guests a truly unforgettable view all around. Quietness and peacefulness is what you will find there. But also flowers, plants of any kinds, birds and butterfly. There are a lot of lovely hiking and walking in the nearby.

The house consists of two floor:
GROUND FLOOR: Open space with kitchen, dining area and sitting room. Stone Fire place is next to the kietchen. Every modern comfort has been provided (microwave, cattle, coffee machine, toaster,moka for italian cofee). Television is satellite for watching some foreign channels. Cd and Dvd player are availablefor guests.
FIRST FLOOR: Double bedroom, Twin Bedroom, Bathroom with bath/tub. A cot or a little bed for child can be provided and comfortably put in the double bed. A portable single bed can be added too if requested.
EXTERNAL AREA: The garden is surrounding the house. It is a terraced garden. The first level, just outside the house offers its guests a table with chairs and umbrella for having breakfast or dinner al fresco. There is a stone-built barbecue and a wood oven. A lovely corner of the first level of the garden has been arranged with white chairs and a little table to relax talking or reading or admiring the panorama.
The second level of the garden offers a very well-kept swimming pool measuring 10x5 metres. Chairs, table, umbrellas and sunloungers have been provided in the pool area where there is also a cold/hot shower.
