A romantic private detached Villa set in spacious grounds overlooking its own olive groves, fruit and almond trees. Large ensuite master bedroom with large settee, dining table and shower room; a further two double bedrooms with family bathroom, well equipped kitchen with separate laundry and pizza oven, family lounge diner, roof terrace and sun lounger balcony. Only 3km away from the famous White City (Ostuni) and 10km from the beaches and craggy inlets of Puglia's Adriatic coast. If after relaxing in this completely independent villa you want to explore Puglia you will find it has an interesting history, good food, wine and very friendly people. We can arrange for you to be met at the airport or on your arrival at the Villa we will arrange for someone to meet you and introduce you to the Villa. If required, we can also arrange to shop for you prior to your arrival (shopping payable locally). If golf is your sport, there is a golf course circa 35 minutes away.

The Villa is situation on a slight rise providing a panoramic view of the local olive groves, positioned south facing the sun is at the front of the villa throughout the day. Within easy distance of the Villa are the historic centres of Alberobello, Fasano, Tranto, Foggia, Lecce and many more but not forgetting Ostuni approximately 3 kilometres away. The villa is 25 minutes from Brindisi and 55 minutes from Bari where the major airports and ferry ports for Puglia are situated. Therefore though the Villa provides a feeling of seclusion and independence the necessities for living (including medical care) are only 3 km away. There are a number of golf courses within reach of the Villa. The courses are all quite different in character and are a pleasure for golfers of every standard, with a steady prevailing breeze adding to the challenge. Please view the golf section for details.

Notes to the rental rates
Book a consecutive second week and receive a 20% discount on the cost of the second week or lowest rated week. For rates on two seperate weeks in a 12 month period, please contact us. The above rates include cleaning, laundry, electricity, gas and local arrangements to meet and introduce you to the Villa's facilities/settle into the villa. The above rates do not include any pre-arranged shopping; meet and greet at Airport, which is available and paid for locally. Should you wish to take a short or out of season break please contact us for further information.
The November to March rental rates include gas for central heating, but not logs for the fire which can be provided if required. A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your holiday will be required to secure your reservation and we will forward to you a proforma invoice for the balance nearer the date of your final payment. The total cost of your holiday should be paid no later than 8 weeks before commencement of your holiday. Upon receipt of full payment for your holiday we will provide you with a comprehensive information pack containing local information, directions and contact numbers of people and services to assist in ensuring you have a trouble free and enjoyable holiday. A refundable security deposit of €200 in cash is payable locally on arrival this is to cover loss/none return of keys, damages, breakages or extra cleaning.

The large master bedroom delightfully decorated in white with cerise voile curtains, has a shower room and is furnished with a three door wardrobe, chest of drawers, large feather sofa, dining table and glass and wrought iron stand. On one wall there are 4, 8ft tall glass doors providing stunning views from the bedroom. Double 1, decorated in cream, white and pale green, situated next to the family bathroom and furnished with two single beds (which can be rearranged into a Kingsize double, please let us know in advance if you want this configuration), a two door wardrobe and chest of drawers. Double 2, decorated in white and lemon, this is a small double room suitable for children, (though this can be rearranged into a kingsize double, if required). Linen baskets are placed in each room for your convenience.

Villa Melograno, purchased in late 2004, has been refurbished during 2005/06, future plans include additional entertainment and a swimming pool (no date available for the pool). The separate Laundry room has an automatic washing machine, iron and ironing board and a pine table. The kitchen is well equipped and has an expanding kitchen table and chairs should you wish to eat in the kitchen. The living room is comfortably furnished, with lounge seating for 7 people and a dining table with 6 chairs. Please feel free to view the DVD collection (as these were donated to us by friends please monitor what your children view). As you will see from the internal photographs we have provided a selection of books including: Italian recipes, reference books, useful Italian phrases and a local map of the area. There are approximately four steps up to the Villa, however, if you require a ramp, we will try and assist, please advise us well in advance of your holiday or booking.
